Project House of Russian Émigré Community named after Alexander Solzhenitsyn, built by “MonArch” Group of Companies, won in the category “The best implemented project for the construction of cultural and educational facilities”. The House of Russian Émigré Community is a unique museum complex, the main activity of which is devoted to the historical phenomenon of the Russian Émigré, as well as the development of relations and strengthening of ties with compatriots outside Russia. The purpose of creating the new building was mainly to ensure storage conditions and wide demonstration of museum, archival and book collections, holding exhibitions, conferences, concerts and other scientific and educational events at a high-quality technical level. For the exterior and interior decoration of the building, modern efficient finishing materials were used, the essential part of which are Russian-made. The facade of the new building is an original solution. It is finished with vertical pylons made of composite aluminum panels, creating a chameleon effect, shimmering in different colors under different viewing angles and lighting. Special architectural lighting emphasizes the shape of the panels. The building is fully adapted for access by people with limited mobility. All the main functional premises are located in the ground part of the building: exhibition halls, a multifunctional hall for 187 seats, service offices and special premises for scientific employees. The storage facility provides for the placement of more than 800 thousand objects of art. These are graphics, sculptures, products made of precious metals, photographs, library funds, weapons and many other samples. To ensure the safety and display of valuable pieces of art in the premises of the building, special technological conditions are provided.
