“MonArch” Group of Companies, one of the largest Moscow developers, reports that it has acquired a land plot in the Presnensky District of Moscow as part of its strategy to increase its portfolio of investment projects. PIK Group of Companies was the seller. The 6.8 hectares land plot is located on the territory of the former Krasnopresnensky sugar refinery at Mantulinskaya street, estate 7 in the immediate vicinity of the Krasnogvardeisky ponds cascade. A project for the construction of a residential complex with a total area of 194,200 m2 will be implemented on this land plot, of which 98,000 m2 will be housing and 17,000 m2 - facilities of commercial and social infrastructure. On the territory of the project there will be a kindergarten for 150 places and a 2-level underground parking. The concept of the residential complex was developed by the British architectural bureau John McAslan + PARTNERS and includes several buildings with variable number of stories. A feature of the project will be a large percentage of apartments with high vantage characteristics and a unique landscaping project, within the framework of which part of the former factory buildings will be restored and turned into art objects.
